Foundation stone for the temporary secretariat

Foundation for temporary secretariatCM N. Chandrababu Naidu laid foundation stone for the temporary secretariat at Velagapudi village in Guntur District on 17th February. He told the State Government will start functioning from temporary secretariat from June 15 onwards.
Mr. Naidu said temporary secretariat is being constructed in multipurpose area. The AP CRDA will use it for commercial or any other best suited purpose. The Government intends to make the temporary secretariat building as a historical structure. The future generations should visit it to know the history, he said.

Confirmed, RAC reserve ticket holders can book the room using the PNR number they are given. Credit, Debit cards of Banks can be made use of to make the payments. Booked details will be intimated through phone message and e-mail registered. An e-mail print is to be brought for occupying the room. Cost of AC room/suite ranges from Rs. 525 to 600/- and that of non-AC room ranges from Rs. 180 to 375/- Dormitory is also available. Additional persons/ children are charged extra.

Amrita medical varsity at amaravati

Amrita medical varsity at amaravatiAmrita University, run by Mata Amritanandamayi Trust, has come forward to set up a world-class medical university at Amaravati, the new Capital region of Andhra Pradesh.
The Trust will also set up a 2,250-bedded “multi super speciality” hospital, research and healthcare complex attached to the university, a communication from the Chief Minister’s Office said.
The “mega project” would be taken up at a cost of Rs. 2,500 crore. This would be the second mega project in the medical and health sector in the amaravati region as a British firm already came forward with a plan to set up a health city. The prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences is also coming up at Mangalagiri that forms part of the amaravati region.


IIPM at Vijayawada

IIPM at VijayawadaThe AP Government are planning to establish the Indian Institute of Plantation Management at Ibrahimpatnam near Vijayawada. Land is identified by the District Collector, Krishna. As per the instructions of the Hon’ble CM, the Officers have discussed the matter with a similar Institute at Bangalore. The Government are committed development through Horticulture. The IIPM will support research in Coffee, Tea, Rubber, Coco and Coconut gardens. Ryots will also be trained there.
